Former Chamber President, Gareth is a local estate agent with over 15 years’ experience in the property industry. Gareth joined the chamber in 2015and in that time has spent 4 years as either President or Vice President, helping to support local businesses in the Christchurch area. Gareth is a qualified football coach and is the manager for one of the local Highcliffe Hawks teams. He juggles his work, Chamber and football commitments with family life helping his wife raise three children.

She helps with the production of the Newsletter, as well as working on events, website etc. Sue was Christchurch Tourism Manager for a number of years; Manager of Adventure Wonderland; an organiser of Stompin’ on the Quomps, and has been involved with the Christchurch Food Festival for many years

Lucy has been a partner at Filer Knapper Accountants & Business Advisers for over 20 years, which puts her in good stead to be the Chamber’s Treasurer. Lucy is actively involved in local business matters, leading the Christchurch BID Steering Group and takes an part in various local initiatives.

Suzanne is our Events Officer and organises the 5 O’clock Club along with any other events the Chamber may run. Suzanne is the Practice Manager and a Partner at Williams Thompson Solicitors in Christchurch.

Peter is a former President of the Chamber and has returned to the Executive to help edit the new Newsletter. He has worked in Christchurch for over 35 years as a Solicitor at Williams Thompson Solicitors in Bridge Street and continues to be actively involved in a number of local organisations.

Tim is the MD of the Captain’s Club Hotel & Spa and represents the
accommodation sector on the BCP Destination Management Board as well as sitting on the committee for the Bournemouth & District Hoteliers Association (BAHA). Tim was a founder member of the Christchurch Food Festival, remaining on board for 20 years as well as a President of the Chamber back in 2001. He is a keen supporter of the Christchurch BID and is on the steering group.

Bob Atkins

Bob receives BCP Council’s Planning updates each week, and brings anything concerning businesses to the Executive Committee’s attention. Bob has had an engineering business in Christchurch since 1974 and undertakes specialist projects which include product development, jig and tool and machine design and manufacture.

Peter is Chair of the Airport Consultative Committee and represents the Airport on the Chamber to provide a two-way communication. He has belonged to the Chamber for over 30 years, having a long-established business in the town, and has served as President on three occasions.
